I'm curious and skeptical about the phrase "the Russian nation", which is a rarely used expression with clear nationalist connotations, especially coming from the mouth of Kamenev, himself not an ethnic Russian in the strictest sense. Perhaps it's a poor translation of "the people of Russia", that is "narod"?
The only quote on ARA I can find from Kamenev is from 1923, where he says "the peoples inhabiting the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will never forget the help provided by the American people through ARA". That sounds properly communist.
It's possible that a different formulation was used in May of 1922, since the USSR was only declared in December of 1922. But "nation" sounds bizarre.

Dude please please do the Spanish Civil War, Catalan Revolution, the May Days (communist Vs anarchist, a civil war within a civil war between the blacks and reds). Books = The Battle for Spain by Antony Beevor, The Spanish Cockpit by Franz Borkenau, Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell, the film Land and Freedom by Ken Loach.
Kind regards

I haven't had time to listen to all the episodes yet, so apologies if you covered this but is there anyone out there covering revolutions on the other side of the World in Asia?
I look forward to someday having the time to finish the revolutions podcast series. Bravo on another chef-d'oeuvre!

Charles - haven't heard Mike promote anyone, but the People's History of Ideas (https://peopleshistoryofideas.com/) is about the Chinese revolutions - from the nationalist to the communist. More dry/academic than Mike, but there's a lot of narrative as well.
