What is the slave situation on the Spanish side of the island? Did they have a lot of them? Were they worried about the revolt spreading? Or was that a totally separate population of slaves, speaking some mix of Spanish and African languages and do not likely to be influenced?

I had to slowly turn my head when Mike said how the Second Commission are about to up-end the apple cart again.
Maybe if the Metropole up-ended that cart a few more times it would have ended right side up.
